The part people dread

Deciding is easy. Finding the button isn't.

Almost nobody keeps a subscription because they're torn about it. They keep it because cancelling meant digging through four settings screens on a Tuesday evening.

said the design of a website or app made cancelling a subscription very difficult

That figure comes from a European Commission survey, and it describes a deliberate design pattern: signing up takes one tap, leaving takes a scavenger hunt. Some services hide the option behind a support chat; some only show it on desktop; some ask you to confirm three times.

What NoBill does about it

It keeps step-by-step instructions for each service — where to click, in what order, and what happens to your access afterwards. If the path has changed or something doesn't match, the help chat answers follow-up questions.

What NoBill does

  • Reads a screenshot of your banking app, App Store, Google Play, PayPal or an e-mail receipt
  • Lists every recurring charge it finds, with the service, price and billing cycle
  • Adds up what the list costs you per month and per year
  • Lets you check and correct every entry, and add ones it missed
  • Sends a reminder 1–3 days before each charge, by e-mail and push
  • Warns you before a free trial turns into a paid plan
  • Gives step-by-step cancel instructions for each service, with a help chat for questions

And what it deliberately doesn't

What it doesn't do

  • Connect to your bank — there is no bank login and no account access
  • Cancel subscriptions for you — you cancel yourself, with instructions
  • Negotiate prices or claim refunds on your behalf

NoBill never logs into your accounts. There's no automated cancellation, no bot acting as you, no stored credentials. You press the buttons; NoBill tells you which ones.
